Growing up in Wisconsin, Alex swam collegiate soccer for University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and then went on to earn his Masters in Psychology from Bradley University. Alex has a high cultural competency as she can effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people from a wide variety of cultural, social, and socio-economic backgrounds. Having faced the rigors of growing up poor and building a different life for herself and her family, Tonya understands the issues and obstacles people are up against in building a different life for themselves and their families.
