Darin Roberts is an MFT Intern specializing in couples counseling and relationship support. He is currently completing his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, where he has focused on evidence-based approaches to help couples and families build healthier relationships. Darin works with partners navigating communication challenges, trust issues, and patterns that contribute to ongoing conflict or disconnection.

Darin is trained in Prepare/Enrich, a proven assessment tool that helps couples identify strengths, challenges, and growth opportunities in their relationship. He uses this training to guide partners in improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening emotional connection. He has completed the 30-Hour Basic Training for Problem and Compulsive Gambling, giving him specialized knowledge to help individuals, couples, and families impacted by gambling concerns. Problem and compulsive gambling can quietly erode trust, financial stability, and emotional intimacy in a relationship, often leaving partners feeling betrayed, anxious, or unsure of how to move forward. Darin works with clients to understand the underlying drivers of compulsive gambling behaviors, address the relational wounds it leaves behind, and develop healthier coping strategies. For couples, he focuses on rebuilding honesty and accountability, restoring financial and emotional safety, and creating a path toward recovery that supports both the individual and the partnership.

Using a compassionate and collaborative approach, Darin helps couples slow down destructive cycles, understand each other's perspectives, improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen emotional connection. He provides a safe space for partners to work through difficult conversations and move toward lasting relational growth.
